Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Platform Ecosystem Team of Engineering Platform Tribe.

The responsibility of this team is provide platform and middleware solutions to the rest of the organization. Our main goal is to prepare the next 10 years platform of the bank.

Your key responsibilities:

As an experienced Software Engineer, your aim will be:  

To design, develop and test the code that will shape the different components of the application, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality and performance.  

To deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices. It includes the documentation and parameters that can help reaching that goal. To support Production by analysis and fixing any bugs that occurs. Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross technical chapter. 

As an expert in the Backend area, you specifically add value on that technical layer but always keep in mind the rest of the technical stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.

What are we looking for?

As a Software Engineer for our engineering platform tribe you should have the following knowledge and experience: 

Essential: 

Good coding Skills on all Middleware layer: Java 21 or higher

Spring (Boot, MVC, CORE, Security, Dependecy Injection). 

Microservices: Hexagonal architecture; Patterns (Circuit Breaker, Api Gateway, Service Discovery); Feature Flags. 

Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftmanship. 

Back End & Devops awareness (understand the global architecture / infrastructure). 

Testing: Unit Testing (Techniques: White-box/ Black-box, What is a unit?); Type of testing (unit testing, integration and smoke); Junit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, Mockmvc, Wiremock, Powermock). 

Maven. 

Docker, Openshift or Kubernetes. 

Ansible. 

Git. 

DDD. 

CI / CD pipelines. 

Devops Skills. 

Azure (pipelines). 

Github 

3 years of experience on similar technical stack. 

Agile team experience with SCRUM or Kanban or XP. 

Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must. 

Desirable: 

Retail banking knowledge. 

Database migration (Flyway, liquibase). 

Prometheus. 

Security: JWT, Mutual TLS, Access token. 

Github copilot. 

BDD. 

Reactive programming, futures. 

Akka, Scala.

Estamos buscando una persona talentosa y entusiasta para unirse como Software Engineer a nuestro equipo Platform Ecosystem dentro de la Engineering Platform Tribe.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es proporcionar soluciones de plataforma y middleware al resto de la organización. Nuestro principal objetivo es preparar la plataforma del banco para los próximos 10 años.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Software Engineer con experiencia, tu objetivo será:

Diseñar, desarrollar y probar el código que dará forma a los distintos componentes de la aplicación, garantizando que cumplan los requisitos de funcionalidad, calidad y rendimiento.

Entregar en Producción un software operativo haciendo el mejor uso de la tecnología y de las prácticas de desarrollo. Esto incluye la documentación y los parámetros que ayuden a alcanzar dicho objetivo. Dar soporte a Producción mediante el análisis y la corrección de cualquier incidencia que pueda surgir. Contribuir a mejorar la disciplina técnica colaborando con el chapter técnico transversal.

Como especialista en el área de Backend, aportarás valor específicamente en esa capa técnica, pero manteniendo siempre una visión global del resto del stack tecnológico como parte de las responsabilidades del Squad.

Como Software Engineer para nuestra Engineering Platform Tribe, deberías contar con los siguientes conocimientos y experiencia:

• Buenas capacidades de programación en toda la capa de middleware: Java 21 o superior.
• Spring (Boot, MVC, Core, Security, Dependency Injection).
• Microservicios: arquitectura hexagonal; patrones (Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Service Discovery); Feature Flags.
• Patrones de diseño, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftmanship.
• Conocimientos de Backend y DevOps (comprensión de la arquitectura e infraestructura global).
• Testing: Unit Testing (técnicas White-box y Black-box, concepto de unidad). Tipos de pruebas (unitarias, integración y smoke tests). JUnit. Contract Testing. Frameworks de mocks (Mockito, MockMvc, WireMock, PowerMock).
• Maven.
• Docker, OpenShift o Kubernetes.
• Ansible.
• Git.
• DDD (Domain-Driven Design).
• Pipelines CI/CD.
• Competencias DevOps.
• Azure (Pipelines).
• GitHub.
• 3 años de experiencia con un stack tecnológico similar.
• Experiencia en equipos Agile con Scrum, Kanban o XP.
• Excelente nivel de inglés, tanto hablado como escrito, imprescindible.
