Quality Intern

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the  Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support and maintain the Quality process system at ABB Monterrey 2.0, collaborating in developing and improving essential quality documentation, including quality gates, work instructions, visual aids, and rework instructions for current and new production lines.
• Contribute with improvement of quality documentation to achieve results.
• Collaborate with local functions in root cause analysis and collaborate on defining action plans during quality circle meetings.
• Support Quality Wins initiatives through workshops

• Students from careers like industrial, electrical, mechanical engineering or related.

• A proactive and collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong written & spoken communication skills.

• Interest in quality standards and manufacturing operations.

• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

• Advanced English level.

• Previous internship experience is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI, Databases, and AI is desirable.
