JOB SUMMARY :
A Radiology Registrar is responsible for performing, interpreting, and reporting assigned radiological examinations using the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). The role includes ensuring timely and accurate reporting, providing safe patient care during procedures, and working closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and interpret radiological examinations accurately and efficiently.

Prepare, review, and approve radiology reports promptly.

Manage complex cases and provide appropriate clinical consultation.

Provide patient-centered care and ensure patient safety during procedures.

Supervise and support junior doctors and residents.

Participate in teaching, training, research, and quality-improvement activities.

Follow evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and professional standards.

Participate in emergency and urgent radiology services.
- Maintain continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in radiology.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in Radiology
- MS degree with 2 years of experience.
Professional Experience
- From 2 to 4 years of experience after certification.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
