Description
Responsibilities
- Provide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors. Manage, track, maintain, and verifying the status of Action Items. Provide SIPR Message Traffic Support.
- Prepare briefings and participate in various program meetings. Provide technical feedback to the fleet through various communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins. Generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
- Resolve supply support related issues. Support the development and update of provisioning documentation. Coordinate spares budget submittals and assist in spares budget reviews. Develop briefing material for Baseline Assessment Memorandums and support data sheet updates for spares budgeting.
- Develop O&MN requirements for submission via the OPOM Database and assist in spares modeling both wholesale and retail.
- Prepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals and Integrated Logistics Assessment documentation.
- Proposals (ECPs) and identify impacts to ILS.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a business or relevant technical field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in a logistics supporting the USN
- Experience managing updates to US Fleet missile inventory data, support “what-if” scenario planning for budget development and justification.
- Must have Close in Weapon System (CIWS) hands on knowledge and experience to serve on the In-Service Installation planning team and maintain a comprehensive database tracking installation location, schedule and estimated and actual installation costs.
- Experience providing data support for Navy Ordnance Inventory Management systems and readiness requirements. Assist in the management of government-owned assets.
- Familiarity with financial management principles as they apply to logistics and inventory (e.g., budget tracking, cost analysis for acquisitions).
- Familiarity with providing logistics support for DoW projects involving electronic/electrical repair, installation, and material acquisition.
- Familiarization with NAVY CAV RP and CMPRO a plus.
- Knowledge of property accountability systems, with a strong preference for experience with NAVSUP P723 and P485.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed
