Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Compensation Leader, Corporate Services to be located in New Brunswick, NJ.

Purpose: The Compensation Leader serves as a strategic partner and internal consultant, supporting the design, analysis, and delivery of global Compensation programs aligned to business objectives. This role combines strong analytical capability with practical execution to develop data-driven compensation solutions that enhance the organization’s ability to attract, retain, and motivate talent.

Operating in a complex, matrixed environment, the Compensation Leader partners closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, taking a consultative and relationship-driven approach to connect market insights with business needs. The role translates data into clear, actionable recommendations that support hiring, retention, and workforce decisions, while contributing to program governance, process improvement, and compensation projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the design, strategy, communication, and implementation of global Compensation programs aligned to business objectives.

  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and data analysis to develop competitive, equitable compensation solutions.

  • Contribute to Compensation governance and projects, identifying and implementing continuous process and policy enhancements.

  • Provide guidance and interpretation on global Compensation policies, procedures, and processes (including year-round and year-end compensation administration).

  • Perform job evaluations and prepare salary recommendations for senior leadership roles; serve as Subject Matter Expert, ensuring compliance, reporting, and data integrity

  • Serves as an internal consultant, advises the HR community & leadership, on Total Rewards policies and procedures, resolves issues as they arise.

  • Participate in external meetings or consortiums as appropriate to gather best practices and benchmark data.

  • Leverage approved AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and enterprise analytics platforms) to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of compensation research, market analysis, reporting, and presentation development while maintaining appropriate human review and judgment.

  • Ensure responsible use of AI by adhering to company policies, data privacy requirements, and ethical standards when analyzing employee, compensation, and organizational data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Master’s in HR, MBA in HR or related) preferred.

  • Global scope and responsibility experience strongly preferred.

  • Position is located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and international travel. 

  • Minimum of 8 years professional hands-on experience within HR, including experience in compensation.

  • Expert understanding of compensation practices, market benchmarking, and applicable laws/regulations, with the ability to translate market data into actionable compensation solutions.

  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software products and familiarity with HR systems, (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Copilot, HRIS/reporting tools).

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled productivity and analytical tools to enhance data analysis, research, reporting, and decision-making processes.

  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs, validate data accuracy, identify potential risks or bias, and apply business judgment when developing compensation recommendations.

  • Curiosity and adaptability in adopting emerging technologies, with the ability to integrate AI capabilities into Compensation processes while maintaining a strong focus on data governance and compliance.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work forward with rigor and accuracy; applies structured problem-solving to support data-driven decision making.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize insights, develop and present clear recommendations to a range of audiences, and effectively collaborate and influence across HR partners and senior stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and cultural awareness.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
