Position Summary
The Cinematographer serves as the lead camera operator and video production specialist for the Commercial Music Program. This position produces high-quality video content including music videos, documentaries, promotional materials, live performances, and multi-camera broadcasts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead camera operator for music videos, concerts, documentaries, interviews, and promotional content.
- Help set up and operate the program's ten-camera broadcast center for live productions and mentor other students
- Capture high-quality video and audio for productions.
- Edit video projects and assist with post-production workflows.
- Maintain and organize camera equipment and production gear.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and marketing staff on creative projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating Sony FX3 cinema cameras.
- Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve & Adobe suite
- Knowledge of professional camera operation, lighting, and composition.
- Experience with multi-camera live production workflows.
- Strong creative storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
