General Summary:

We are looking for a high-caliber Product Manager with a strong technology background in Machine Learning, including NPU hardware architecture, foundation models (LLM/LVM/MLLM/ViT/DiT, etc.), generative model technologies etc..

The individual will help shape future Qualcomm NPU hardware architectures to improve flexibility, efficiency, and scalability while addressing the evolving requirements of China OEMs, ecosystem partners, and emerging market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Execute Qualcomm product and technology roadmaps in support of business objectives and long-term strategic plans, collaborating closely with Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, and Sales teams.
• Help define and execute Snapdragon intelligent computing platform strategy and manage China-specific product requirements from OEMs and ecosystem partners. Translate partner requirements into platform specifications and influence future NPU hardware architecture evolution, including: Scalar/Vector/Tensor, On-chip memory hierarchy, Scheduling engines, Data movement optimization
• Drive efficient heterogeneous computing across NPU, CPU, GPU, ISP, and other processing engines through hardware-software co-design, with a focus on improving end-to-end user experiences and system efficiency.
• Manage customer and partner relationships and identify opportunities for differentiated products, platform capabilities, software features, and ecosystem initiatives.
• Identify and anticipate key market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to future Snapdragon platform planning activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Planning, or Product Development within mobile computing, consumer electronics, silicon platforms, or related technology industries.
• Strong experience with NPU architecture and familiarity with the silicon ecosystem, including platform development, manufacturing technologies, and supply chain etc..
• Good understanding of SoC integration specifications, including: Clock/Reset, Power management, NPU/CPU/GPU/ISP coherency, Memory subsystem interactions, Thermal management and throttling mechanisms
• Strong technical knowledge of Foundation models: Large language models, Multimodal models, Generative model technologies and Machine learning systems, Experience with LLM, LVM, MLLM, ViT, DiT, CNN, RNN, LSTM, and related model architectures is highly desirable.
• Ability to drive projects effectively in cross-functional and international teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are required.
• Must be able to quickly understand complex technical concepts, simplify them for various audiences, and communicate them clearly and effectively.
• Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and exceptional English communication skills are required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable presenting advanced topics related to:Foundation models/Machine learning systems/NPU architecture/Heterogeneous computing/Edge inference platforms to large audiences in either Mandarin or English.
• Frequent business travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Related technical disciplines
• Experience in silicon platform development, SoC architecture, or advanced computing technologies is a strong plus.
• Experience with: NPU hardware/Model deployment frameworks/Foundation models/Generative model optimization/On-device inference technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience applying machine learning technologies to multimedia workloads, including image, audio, video, gaming, and user interaction scenarios, is a plus.

Preferred

Master's degree in: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Related technical field

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR

Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR

High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
