Description
- Basic PLCs lay out and trouble shoot of analogic/digital signals and network communication.
- Inspect and maintain the safety devices related to the process equipment.
- Complete basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications.
- Ability to lead projects and complete successfully.
- Set up basic VFD/DRIVERS’s parameters and troubleshoot alarms.
- Ensures assigned area and satellite shop area are clean and organized.
- Provide the supervisor a list of parts required to complete tasks.
- Prioritize activities for assigned areas (PMs/Work Orders/Inspections).
- Draft, request, and validate SOPs for assigned area to guarantee other team members are trained on documentation.
- Support the rest of the Maintenance Department during unplanned downtime (call in or phone call).
- Respond to radio calls in assigned area.
- Be available for remote support or on-site support outside of normal work schedule.
- Responsible to drive area task completion for reactive repairs and proactive work.
- Responsible for completion for all PM’s in the assigned area.
- Identify PMs that need update to improve process.
- Suggest and request maintenance personnel skills development when required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code.
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
- 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
- Formal PLC training preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
