Overview

A lovely family in Coconut Grove, Miami, FL is seeking a temporary nanny for their 4-month-old daughter for a two-week placement, Monday, August 3rd through Thursday, August 14th, Monday through Friday, with the final week concluding on Thursday. The ideal candidate will be warm, attentive, and experienced in newborn and infant care, comfortable managing daytime hours and developmentally appropriate engagement for a young infant. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for our 4-month-old infant

• Follow our established daily routine for feedings, bottle preparation, diaper changes, naps, and hygiene

• Engage our daughter in age-appropriate developmental activities, including tummy time, reading, sensory play, and walks

• Prepare, wash, and sterilize bottles and other feeding supplies

• Maintain a clean, organized nursery and complete all baby related laundry and light housekeeping

• Monitor and record feedings, naps, diapers, and developmental milestones, providing regular updates to parents

• Comfort, soothe, and respond promptly to our daughter’s needs while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment

• Accompany our family on outings as needed and assist with baby related tasks throughout the day

• Follow all parental instructions and maintain open, professional communication throughout the assignment

• Be reliable, punctual, and flexible while providing exceptional care throughout the assignment

Qualifications

• Experience specifically with newborns or infants under 6 months

• Knowledge of infant developmental milestones

• Comfortable with bottle feeding and sterilization protocols

• Experience creating and following structured routines

• Strong communication skills with parents

• Ability to travel or accompany family on outings

• Flexible and adaptable to a short term, fast start engagement

• Excellent references from comparable infant care roles

Requirements

• Private household experience

• Valid US work authorization

• Strong verifiable references

• Long term experience caring for infants

• Warm, nurturing, and attentive demeanor

• CPR and first aid

Salary and Benefits

• $45 per hour
