Job Description Summary:
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenShift Senior Consultant to join us in Taipei, Taiwan. In this role, you will be a key driver in architecting and implementing enterprise-scale container solutions for our customers. You will not only apply your deep technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift but also act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their digital transformation journey.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be at the forefront of modern cloud-native development. You will design and deploy sophisticated OpenShift environments, mentor customer teams, and ensure the successful adoption of DevOps and GitOps practices. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact, helping our customers build resilient, scalable, and secure application platforms.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Deliver and support the deployment of RHEL (Red Hat Linux), Satellite, and Ansible Automation for Enterprises.
Design, create, and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to design, service, and support our Automation solutions at scale.
Lead complex Red Hat Consulting engagements, taking ownership of the full project lifecycle from design and architecture to successful implementation.
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) at the client site, addressing strategic IT needs and complex technical challenges.
Design and implement sophisticated OpenShift solutions that integrate with a customer's existing infrastructure, including networking, storage, security, and identity management.
Mentor and guide customer teams on best practices for containerisation, application deployment, and OpenShift administration.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for RHEL, AAP and OpenShift upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and potential issues.
Perform Red Hat AI solution
Required Skills:
Background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain.
Extensive experience as a senior/consultant or architect, with a strong focus on Linux, Ansible, and cloud-native and container technologies.
Deep, hands-on expertise with Red Hat Linux, Ansible, and OpenShift Container Platform (or K8S), including installation, configuration, and day-2 operations.
It’s a plus if the candidate is also familiar with the Red Hat Satellite product.
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and core concepts such as pods, services, deployments, and operators.
Candidates who are good with prompts, RAG, model training, model distillation/quantization, MCP, and AI agent development; this AI-related knowledge is excellent.
Expertise in designing and implementing solutions with a focus on high availability, scalability, and security.
Experience with DevOps and GitOps practices and related tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton) is a plus.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including networking, storage, and virtualisation.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving critical issues.
Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux, AAP, or OpenShift Administration is highly desirable, with the willingness to pursue other relevant certifications.
Strong background in consultative customer engagement with either a major consulting services organization or within the services division of a major software company.
