Interim Head of Finance (m/f/d)
Start: Immediately
Duration: 3 months with option to extend or transition to permanent employment
Location: Austria / Remote (occasional on-site presence required)

Our client is a fast-growing IT and software company focused on Artificial Intelligence, which has recently received an investment from a Private Equity fund. As part of the further professionalisation of the Finance function, an Interim Head of Finance is being sought at short notice.
Responsibilities

Responsibility for the Finance function as well as leadership and further development of the two-person Finance team.

Managing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning and further development of financial processes using LucaNet.

Close collaboration with C-level management and the PE investor on M&A and Corporate Finance topics.

Management of external service providers (Payroll, Accounting, Tax) as well as supporting the further scaling of the Finance organisation.
Requirements
-
Several years of experience in Transaction Services, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance, ideally complemented by experience as a Head of Finance or CFO.

Very good knowledge of LucaNet as well as experience in PE-backed growth companies and multi-entity structures.

Strong affinity for technology and AI, with an understanding of AI-based business models ("AI Native").

Fluent German and English language skills.
