Rotating Shift Days and Afternoon every two weeks
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Compensation:
$110,000-$140,000/annually

About the Company:

Our client sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America in order to ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste.

They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Maintenance Manager to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team in alignment with companies values
• Oversee hiring, performance management, development planning and succession
• Develop and execute proactive preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
• Lead onboarding and integration of complex new machinery in collaboration with the engineering department
• Oversee maintenance of equipment, facilities, infrastructure and vehicle fleets
• Coordinate internal and external maintenance resources, contractors and service providers
• Establish departmental goals, KPIs and performance metrics
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely and in compliance with legislation and company policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability and service quality
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology or a related technical field is considered an asset
• Must possess at least 5- 7 years of previous experience in a maintenance supervisory or management position
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance operations and preventive maintenance systems
• Proven leadership, communication and team development skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering departments
