As a Legal Intern/Trainee, you will engage in analyzing disputes, developing resolution strategies, and managing legal claims for clients, providing advice and support in navigating complex disputes and mitigating potential risks. Within our Office of General Counsel (OGC) practice, you will be part of a dynamic team offering comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients, maintaining compliance with regulations and minimizing legal risks across various industries.
As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Supporting the legal team in analyzing disputes and developing resolution strategies
- Conducting research and gathering evidence to assist in legal case management
- Participating in the preparation of legal briefs and strategies for arbitration and litigation
- Assisting in the management of claims and monitoring insurance claims processes
- Engaging in discovery preparation and trial preparation activities
- Applying legal compliance standards and maintaining attorney-client privilege
- Collaborating with team members to navigate complex disputes and mitigate potential risks
- Utilizing claims management systems to track and resolve claims efficiently
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to enhance legal analysis skills
- Contributing to the development of corrective actions and dispute avoidance strategies
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
