Position Title: Hair and Makeup Maintenance Crew

Department: Wigs, Hair, & Makeup

Position Summary

The Hair and Makeup Crew will run backstage tracks in an outdoor setting, including wig

pre-sets, wig cues and makeup cues. They will also maintain styling and upkeep of wigs for all productions.

Essential Functions

• Assisttheperformerswithquickchangesinbothhairandmakeup
• Sanitizewigs,makeupsuppliesandactorstationsdaily
• Adhereto/enforceallrulesandregulationsrequiredbytheActor'sEquityAssociation, including Covid-19 additions
• AdheretoandpromoteallOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintainflexiblescheduleforworkcallsespeciallyduringtechweeks
• ContributetotheoverallsuccessoftheProductionDepartmentbyperformingany additional duties and responsibilities assigned

• Experiencewithavarietyofwigstylesandcurrentmaintenancetechniques
• Knowledgeandexperiencewithspecialtymakeupapplications
• Abilitytolift20lbs
• Mustbeabletorunshortdistancesandusestairswhilecarryingabasket
• Mustbeabletostandfor2-3hoursduringtheshowrun

Preferred: at least 2 years of professional work experience in a live theatrical environment as a wig/makeup crew member or equivalent educational experience.

Housing is available at $50 per week.

This is an IATSE represented position, but you do not have to be an IATSE member to apply. Production Dates: November 16-December 22, 2026
