Companion Animal Veterinarian – Bluffton, SC
A veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, and professional development. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals.
- Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.
- Develop and explain individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members to support quality patient care.
- Participate in surgical and dental procedures as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with veterinary, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program.
- Active or eligible state veterinary license.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome to apply.
- DEA license and USDA accreditation preferred, but not required.
