Schedule: Full - Time
How you'll make an impact in this role
Coordinate surgical block times to maximize the use of operating rooms, equipment, and staff while balancing surgeon preferences and patient needs.
Work with clinic teams and patient access to collect accurate demographic, insurance, and billing data to prevent care delays.
Guide patients through their presurgery steps with empathy and clear communication.
Adapt quickly to day-of changes, efficiently rescheduling procedures for urgent urological cases or emergencies.
Keep clear communication flowing between surgeons, clinic staff, and hospital admissions.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
Experience in surgical scheduling, OR block management, or complex medical appointment coordination (urology or ambulatory experience is a plus).
Experience entering patient data, verifying insurance, and navigating Athena.
