Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To ensure safe and consistent product that complies with desired quality and legal standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Backup QM Pillar Owner for Malanpur site.
- Managing a team of 24 SFC (Shift Process Quality + Flavors Making+ Lab Analysts) in 3 shifts.
- Review of Process & Product parameters for compliance & handling deviations.
- Validations of NPD, new processes, capacity expansions projects FFG projects etc. to ensure compliance & food safety in process analysis of critical parameters of WIP and FG.
- IQS champion. Guiding team on uses and troubleshooting handling.
- Manufacturing Standard SWP owner. Assessment of process capability: CP, CPK & CPM. Guiding team on corrective & preventive actions.
- SAP conformance for product integrity with generation & consumption of ingredients. Ensuring BOM vs ION compliance on shop floor.
- Online inspection for various defectives & PAPAs development with RDQ.
- Statistical evaluation of Net Weight control on all the packaging legs (Perk, CoEx, NML& 5 Star).
- FG inspection and release. Implementation of CNCP quality policy.
- Conducting recipe audit, process & self-inspection at shop floor.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for HACCP, Regulatory (FSSAI) & Legal compliance.
- Conducting Pre-requisite and HACCP audit on shopfloor. Support to new HACCP development for any new projects
- Liaisoning with FSSAI and weights and Measures department (legal Metrology). Daily verification of FOSCOS.
- Weekly updates on Komptrac portal.
- Analysis and follow up for market complaints and taking prompt corrective actions.
- Conducting P test for CTQ parameters & Owner for MSA.
- Drive MSA requirements in Quality Labs.
- Generating quality awareness through training
- EHS – Conduct BOS, WPI & RA
- Management and promotion of EHS in QA Lab as the Lab Steward.
- Ensure that an up-to-date inventory of all chemicals used at Malanpur factory is maintained
- That hazards of all substances on the inventory are identified and assessed and recorded
- Drive the New Chemical authorization process and ensure availability of MSDS of all chemicals on inventory
- Ensure Quality systems implementation with reference to HACCP, Pre-requisite requirements, QP
- Own traceability, testing control, CNCP & specification management QP
- Building capability through Train & coach people on quality processes.

- Periodic trend analysis.
- PAPAs & CTQ/CTP
- No legal non-conformance
- Achieving targeted defective level
- FG release on time.
- Number of audits conducted
- NC closures.
- Process Capability Assessment (CPM, CP & CPK). MSA
- Q Point Compliances.
- SWP Owner for Q- Fundamental

- In-depth Technical knowledge of Chocolate, Sheet Cut, Wafer, Co-Extrusion & NML Technologies.

Qualification & Experience
MSc (Science) / B. Tech in Chemical Technology/Food Technology with 6-8 years exp in food industry (Preferably in MNCs) in Quality.
