Description
Overview
About the role
We're building the data backbone for multifamily real estate: a cloud-native data platform purpose-built for AI. We need someone to own the data offerings on top of it — the products our customers will buy, adopt, and run their business on.
This is a builder's role. You'll take offerings from zero to one, scale what works, and set the bar for how we ship data and AI products. You lead a team of PMs and work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, data science, sales, and customers. You go deep in an architecture review and just as comfortably win the room with an executive buyer. And you use AI relentlessly in your own work — to research, prototype, analyze, and multiply a small team's output.
What you'll own
You'll set the vision and strategy for our multifamily data solutions and turn it into a roadmap that balances near-term customer wins with durable investment. You'll lead 0-to-1 builds — standing up new offerings, validating them with customers, and hardening them into scalable, reliable products. You'll be accountable for outcomes: adoption, revenue, and retention — not just shipping features.
You'll build and grow a high-performing team, developing PMs into stronger operators. You'll own go-to-market with sales, marketing, and customer success — pricing, packaging, positioning, and launch — and be the primary customer-facing voice for these offerings. And you'll partner closely with the platform team, shaping what the platform needs to deliver so your solutions win.
Responsibilities
What we're looking for
- AI-first operator. You've fundamentally changed how you work using AI. You use it to automate research, accelerate analysis, prototype quickly, and extend your own reach — and you push your team to do the same. You have a strong point of view on where AI creates real leverage versus where it's noise.
- Proven people leader. You've built, hired, and developed product teams (managing PMs, ideally managing managers). People do their best work for you, and you're deliberate about coaching, standards, and culture.
- 0-to-1 builder with structural rigor. You've repeatedly taken products from nothing to market in fast-paced environments. You move fast without creating chaos — pairing rapid velocity with the process and decision discipline that let a team scale. Ambiguity and pace don't overwhelm you; you create clarity for others.
- Deeply technical, clear communicator. You understand data architecture, pipelines, ingress/egress, data modeling, graphs, semantics and agentic AI systems. You can go deep with engineers and then translate the same substance into plain language for executives, sales teams, and customers.
- Strong go-to-market and customer instinct. You've owned commercial outcomes — pricing, packaging, positioning, and launches — and you're energized by being in front of customers. You close.
- Delivery-obsessed. You commit to dates and you hit them. You manage dependencies, surface risks early, and drive to outcomes without excuses.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, with 4+ years leading and managing product teams
- Experience in the multifamily industry (or closely adjacent real estate / proptech), with a strong understanding of its customers, workflows, and data
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling data solutions or data-driven products (analytics, data as a service, agentic AI offerings, or similar) built on top of a data platform
- Track record of 0-to-1 product launches in fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Hands-on familiarity with cloud-native data platforms, ideally on GCP (BigQuery and related services)
- Understanding of zero-copy / no-copy data sharing architectures and why they matter for customer data
- Familiarity with agentic AI and emerging standards for connecting data and tools to AI agents, such as MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Experience owning go-to-market and commercial outcomes for technical products
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in a technical discipline) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a history of influencing executive and customer audiences
