Join our team as an Area Human Resources Manager!
As our Area HR Manager, you'll be the go-to HR expert for at least two properties, partnering directly with the Director of Human Resources or General Manager (depending on the property). You’ll lead our HR team in making each day run smoothly—whether it’s recruiting all-stars, supporting training, or handling compensation and benefits. Your focus? Delivering top-notch HR support that makes employees happy, keeps the business thriving, and ensures we’re always playing by the rules. KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hospitality Hero: Approach every guest and team member with a welcoming, friendly, and courteous attitude—your attentive service turns every encounter into a positive memory!
- Recruitment Rockstar: Take charge of the hiring process from start to finish—posting jobs, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and making sure new hires feel right at home in our team!
- Relations & Rewards Wrangler: Roll out creative employee programs, resolve workplace issues with a smile, and keep motivation high by managing incentives, benefits orientation, and recognition programs like Employee of the Month!
- Compliance Captain: Keep us on track by ensuring all HR paperwork, reports, and records are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and employment laws—navigating the HR landscape like a pro!
- Communication Champion: Share the latest news by coordinating and distributing our employee newsletter, maintaining open-door communication, and making sure information flows clearly and cheerfully to all team members!
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or a related industry; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
- College course work in related field helpful
- Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws are helpful.
- Must be proficient in Windows operating systems
- Familiar with Human Resources/employee regulations and laws, and ensure that the property is in compliance.
