As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in North Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at an automotive auction location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of auction lanes, vehicle storage areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, office areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and assist with traffic flow for vehicles, transport carriers, and visitors.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site requirements.
- Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
