To lead and manage the end-to-end capability, performance, and optimisation of Customer Service and Logistics systems. The role is accountable for insourcing, stabilising, and continuously improving key supply chain platforms, while building internal capability and leveraging data to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and informed decision-making.The Systems Manager ensures that systems across Control Tower, WMS, OMS, and TMS are effectively integrated, owned internally, and aligned to business strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Systems Strategy & Insourcing Leadership
- Lead the insourcing of key supply chain systems from external providers into internally owned platforms.
- Define and implement sustainable system ownership models across:
- Supply Chain Control Tower
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Other CS&L integrations such as External and internal data into datalake
- Build and develop internal system capability, reducing dependency on vendors.
- Align system capabilities to evolving Customer Service and Logistics strategy.
- Develop best practice application of the systems in operations, and define plans to drive these CI improvements with operational staff
Platform Ownership & Optimisation
- Provide end-to-end accountability for system performance, stability, and scalability.
- Oversee configuration, enhancements, and ongoing optimisation of systems supporting:
- order management and tracking
- warehouse operations across Tiger Group, excluding Bakeries
- transport planning and execution
- Ensure systems enable efficient, integrated operational processes across the supply chain.
Control Tower & Data-Driven Enablement
- Lead the implementation and management of the Supply Chain Control Tower capability within internal systems.
- Drive the use of data to provide:
- real-time visibility across orders, inventory, and transport
- performance tracking and exception management
- trend analysis and forecasting alignment
- Translate data into actionable insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
TMS Capability Development
- Establish and lead the development of TMS capability (currently not mature within the organisation) for Primary and Secondary operations.
- Oversee systems and processes for:
- primary and secondary transport planning
- vehicle and route tracking
- transporter performance management
- third-party invoicing and cost control
- Drive visibility and optimisation of transport operations.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Lead identification and delivery of system-driven improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation and process efficiency across Customer Service and Logistics.
- Ensure systems support improved:
- customer service levels
- operational efficiency
- cost optimisation
Stakeholder Leadership & Integration
- Act as the central link between IT and supply chain operations.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across:
- Customer Service
- Logistics and Distribution
- Planning and Forecasting
- Finance and Commercial teams
- Ensure system solutions support end-to-end integration and business outcomes.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to system governance, change control, and audit requirements.
- Maintain system documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance across all platforms.

Experience & Qualifications
- 10–12 years’ experience in systems management, applications, or supply chain systems roles
- Proven experience in Customer Service and Logistics systems environments
- Experience managing or supporting ERP, WMS, OMS, and/or TMS platforms
- Demonstrated deployment of Manhattan Scale WMS and Opsi TMS applications. Oracle ERP advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in leading system improvements and capability development
- Experience in automation technology such as Pick to Voice, Pick to sight, AGV integrations etc. advantageous
- Exposure to data analytics and operational performance management
- Degree / Diploma in: Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering, or related field
