ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 10+ years of electrical experience
- Knowledge of contracting, budget development, tracking expenses, and performance management
- Understanding of construction technology, equipment, methods, and industry standards
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with estimating programs, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to manage projects from estimate through closeout
- Capability to run multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions
WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
You will start your day by reviewing blueprints and developing detailed project plans and estimates. Throughout the day, you will coordinate manpower with the scheduler, manage material procurement, and oversee vendor and subcontractor contracts. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and inspectors, ensuring that every project is progressing smoothly and profitably. Your focus will be on maintaining high safety standards, solving challenges as they arise, and guiding each project from estimate to close out. Your expertise will help navigate the complexities of electrical systems, from fire alarms to access control and surveillance cameras, while representing Szulgit Electric with professionalism and pride.
