Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and ensuring our software solutions meet the highest quality standards to enhance the overall user experience.
You will join a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to maintaining product excellence and driving continuous improvement across our digital applications.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Execute Comprehensive Software Testing & Deliver Quality Results: Conduct manual and automated test cases, perform functional, regression, and performance testing, analyze test results, and assist in maintaining automation test scripts to drive application quality.
Collaborate Across Engineering & Product Teams: Partner with developers and product teams to report, track, and resolve software defects while providing actionable feedback to optimize overall user experience.
Ensure Compliance & Testing Best Practices: Adhere to established quality assurance methodologies, industry standards, and internal guidelines throughout every phase of testing.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a foundational understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, alongside familiarity with automation testing frameworks and programming languages such as Python, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), or Structured Query Language (SQL).
Proven ability in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective communication, with bonus experience or interest in Application Programming Interface (API) and performance testing tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, or equivalent practical experience).
