Job Summary
*This role will be remote/work from home.*
This position is an entry-level sales position responsible for retaining and growing UPS’ legacy Enterprise Accounts. This position works closely with parent account owners to retain and grow the business. He/She builds relationships with key decision makers and serves as a customer advocate and subject matter expert. He/She performs proactive and reactive sales calls to explore customers’ needs and resolve issues. He/She implements solutions that help customer’s meet their business objectives. He/She enhances customer experience by responding to support requests from internal and external customers in a timely manner, educating customers on UPS’ terms and conditions of service, and following through on commitments.
Responsibilities
- Responds to and resolves customer support requests, complaints, fraud incidents, and compliance violations.
- Escalates ongoing pickup and service issues with operations (e.g., center and feeder).
- Collaborates with parent account owners (CSM/SAM/PSM) on strategies and solutions needed to support and grow child accounts.
- Surfaces any child account risks to parent account owners (CSM/SAM/PSM) that need to be escalated at the parent-level.
- Identifies drivers to the business and passes along competitive opportunities to CS/SAM/PSM.
- Maintains knowledge of UPS products and services to develop appropriate sales solutions.
- Qualifies sales leads by exploring customer’s needs and competitive opportunities.
- Leverages sales support channels to research and resolve customer support requests.
- Educates customers on UPS’s service support channels and UPS Terms and Conditions of service.
- Coordinates operational support needed by the customer during peak season (e.g., small package and feeder).
- Presents compelling value proposals to potential and existing customers.
- Documents all customer engagements in CRM to include customer contacts, event descriptions, outcomes, and next steps.
Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, or equivalent software
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred
- UPS and/or business-to-business or business-to-consumer sales experience - Preferred
Wage Transparency
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $27.35/hour to $46.50/hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
