Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in the state of Maryland, offers full-service truck and warranty repairs for International trucks, Jerr-Dan bodies, Kalmar-Ottawa yard jockies, Cummins engines, and Eaton and Meritor drivetrains. We take the hassle out of truck operations with more than 92 service bays and over $3 million in stocked parts. Locations include Annapolis, Baltimore, Cumberland, Elkton, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Idealease of Baltimore.
Our warehouse associates are an integral part of managing our parts inventory so we can deliver best-in-class service.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Places and processes daily parts orders
- Stocks and posts incoming orders
- Works cross-departmentally to control inventory, both physically and electronically
- Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory
- Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered and organized
- Assists counter sales reps and with telephone coverage as needed

Requirements
IDEAL WORK QUALITIES & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience in transportation / warehouse environment preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer
- Problem-solving and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
- The ability to stand, constantly move, and work outside for an 8-hour shift
Must be able to periodically work beyond the scheduled 8-hour shift, as directed by the Parts Manager.
