About the Company
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor active freight shipments in real time to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries across US time zones.
- Generate, verify, and audit critical freight documentation, including Rate Confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date load statuses, driver details, and tracking notes within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Communicate proactively with drivers, dispatchers, and carriers regarding schedule updates, appointment times, and site access instructions.
- Identify and resolve operational issues in real time, such as transit delays, weight/pallet discrepancies, or missed appointments.
- Support billing and accounting workflows by ensuring all completed loads have valid PODs and signed Rate Confirmations before processing carrier payments.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven US Freight Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in US freight operations, dispatch, or 3PL brokerage execution (non-negotiable).
- Documentation Mastery: Deep, practical familiarity with US transportation documentation (Rate Confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and lumper receipts).
- Advanced English Communication: Flawless verbal and written English skills (C1/C2) to handle phone calls and written updates with US drivers and dispatchers confidently.
- TMS & Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience working inside modern Transportation Management Systems and tracking platforms.
- Problem-Solving & Detail Orientation: Strong ability to spot discrepancies, stay organized under pressure, and manage multiple active shipments simultaneously in a remote setup.
Nice to Have
- Experience specifically within box truck, middle-mile, or expedited freight operations.
- Familiarity with US geography, major freight corridors, and regional transit times.
- Previous experience using digital tracking tools (e.g., Macropoint, Trucker Tools) and cloud communication tools (Slack, Google Workspace).
