General Summary:
About the Role
The Data Scientist – Record to Report will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining AI-driven solutions that support and enhance R2R processes. This role is primarily hands-on and technical, with a strong emphasis on machine learning, data engineering, and applied AI. The role does not own accounting processes, close execution, controls, or SOX responsibilities.
Role Focus
- Data Science, AI & Automation Delivery: ~80%
- Functional Partnership & Solution Enablement: ~20%
Key Responsibilities – AI & Data Science Solution Development
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions supporting R2R use cases such as anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and intelligent data validation.
- Develop Python-based data pipelines for ERP and finance data sources.
- Build and maintain ML models, LLM-powered tools, or AI agents augmenting R2R productivity.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, explainable, well-documented, and production-ready.
- Monitor solution performance, data quality, and model drift; continuously improve models post-deployment.
Platform & Integration Partnership
- Partner with Enterprise AI, IT, and Data Platform teams for integration and deployment.
- Ensure solutions align with security, infrastructure, and architectural standards.
- Support solution enhancements, upgrades, and long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and common data science libraries.
- Experience building, training, and deploying ML models or AI solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of Data Science or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
