Description

We are looking for a Change Investment & Insights Expert to join the Transformation Office NL. In this role, you will help shape and steer ING NL's Change Portfolio by providing strategic insights, investment recommendations, and decision support to senior leadership.

You will play a key role in translating our strategic priorities into a balanced and value-driven change portfolio, ensuring that investments deliver measurable outcomes and support ING's ambitions.

The team
Transformation Office NL is responsible for driving and supporting high-impact change initiatives across ING NL. The team operates at the heart of the organization, ensuring that strategic priorities are delivered effectively and in line with regulatory and internal standards.

As a Change Investment & Insights Expert, you operate at the intersection of strategy, change, and executive decision-making within the Transformation Office NL.

You bring transparency into where we invest, what value is being delivered, and where leadership intervention is needed. Through analysis, storytelling, and stakeholder management, you help ExCo make informed choices on priorities, trade-offs, capacity allocation, and value realization.

Roles and responsibilities
As a Change Investment & Insights Expert, you will:

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on the ING NL change portfolio to support ExCo decision-making.

  • Translate portfolio data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities, risks, and required interventions.

  • Challenge and support business and delivery leaders in shaping roadmaps, investment proposals, and value realization.

  • Facilitate portfolio trade-off discussions across domains.

  • Develop executive-level reporting and steer continuous improvement of portfolio governance and investment management.

  • Strengthen our Boosting Agile way of working and act as a role model for the Orange Code.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • An academic Master’s degree (MSc).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear insights.

  • Experience in portfolio management, transformation, strategy, or consulting.

  • The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, including ExCo-level leadership.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a talent for crafting executive-level messages.

  • A strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach.

  • Experience operating in complex change environments with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
