Description
The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle—from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
This position sits with the Office of Global Education & Mobility (OGEM) which aims to advance student knowledge and learning through global experience. To achieve this, it strives to foster meaningful global engagements by designing, spearheading and supporting several overseas programmes that increase NTU’s global visibility and international mobility of NTU students. The successful candidate will drive international student mobility by managing and expanding global partnership networks, developing impactful overseas immersion programmes, and implementing market strategies to achieve strong student participation and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the reporting officer to set strategic direction and goals and key deliverables, shape programme brand and messaging to heighten awareness and sign-up; ensuring alignment with and contribution to the office’s overall mission and operational objectives.
Cultivate partnerships with assigned markets and seek to grow outbound and inbound opportunities for both semester and during school vacation.
Manage discussion/negotiation and set-up of the partnership agreements for signing.
Curate, coordinate and implement new short-term programmes to deliver and achieve operational activities and goals.
Drives new programme branding and messaging to shift mindset and grow sign-ups.
Assess existing work processes and identify opportunities to implement AI and RPA solutions to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor operational process compliance and take corrective actions to address non-compliance.
Work closely with Semester and Short-Term Programme teams/colleagues to engage partner universities on student recruitment and inbound and outbound mobility operation issues.
Engage internal stakeholders, including schools’ Assistant Chairs (academic), exchange coordinators, and colleagues from other offices, to drive student mobility and support implementation of faculty-led programmes.
Assess and enhance data collection processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used for reporting and submissions.
Drive continuous improvements to students’ global learning and mobility experiences through programme evaluation and stakeholder feedback.
Manage and coordinate responses to emergency incidents and crisis situations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and effective stakeholder communication.
Prepare reports and data analyses to support senior leadership's strategic planning, decision-making, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Graduates with at least 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in international relations, partnerships, student mobility, programme management, or higher education administration.
Proven ability to develop and manage strategic partnerships with overseas institutions.
Experience in negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
Strong ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders, including senior management, faculty members, overseas partners, and students.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of CRM tools / artificial intelligence tools/ data analytics would be an added advantage.
Agile and adaptable.
Team player and highly collaborative.
