[What the role is]
As part of our team, you will play a key role in safeguarding the safety and compliance of fixed installations in Singapore, including processing applications for approvals of new installations, conducting audit inspections on existing installations and taking enforcement actions against offenders who contravene the law.You may also be involved in reviewing, formulating and implementing policies and rules to shape and transform the industry, keeping pace with evolving in design, technology and practices.
There will also be opportunity for you engage with different stakeholders through public education, outreach sessions and technical seminars.

[What we are looking for]
You should hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board. Registration as a Professional Engineer, or progress towards attaining it, would be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, good communication, and the ability to write clear and well-structured reports are important for this role.
