Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in ENT clinic.
- Schedule patients and perform office administrative functions.
- Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
- Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
- Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
Requirements:
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
- Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
- IA LPN or RN license
- BLS - onsite training available upon hire
Schedule:
- 72 hrs per pay period
- 4 days per week; 7:30a-4:30p
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
