Your contribution:

As the Director, Data and Analytics you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner closely with business leaders, enterprise architecture, technology, and functional teams to translate business priorities into scalable analytics capabilities, trusted data products, and actionable insights. You will establish solution architecture standards, oversee delivery execution, and ensure analytics platforms, data engineering and products, dashboards, reporting solutions, and advanced analytics capabilities are secure, reliable, governed, and aligned with business value. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of analytics solutions, including data models, semantic layers, reporting solutions, dashboards, self-service analytics, and advanced analytics capabilities. 

• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, define analytics roadmaps, and translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable solution designs. 

• Establish and govern analytics solution architecture standards, patterns, and best practices to ensure consistency, reusability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability. 

• Oversee delivery of analytics initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business outcomes. 

• Collaborate with data engineering, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure analytics solutions integrate effectively with enterprise data platforms and technology ecosystems. 

• Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities, including cloud data platforms, business intelligence tools, automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive or prescriptive analytics where appropriate. 

• Ensure strong data governance, data quality, metric consistency, privacy, and compliance controls are embedded into analytics solutions. 

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of solution architects, analytics engineers, BI developers, analysts, and delivery professionals. 

• Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate delivery progress, resolve risks and dependencies, and provide executive-level updates on analytics initiatives. 

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce technical debt, improve analytics performance, and increase speed to insight for business users. 

• Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and industry trends to continuously mature the organization’s analytics architecture and delivery model. 

• Define success metrics, service levels, and continuous improvement practices to measure solution adoption, reliability, performance, and business impact. 

• Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department or area performance.  

•  Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 

• 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data architecture, data engineering, solution architecture, or related technology roles. 

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or large-scale analytics delivery initiatives. 

• Fluency in English.

• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise analytics solutions using modern data platforms, cloud technologies, BI tools, and data visualization capabilities. 

• Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic modeling, data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data integration, reporting, dashboarding, and self-service analytics. 

• Experience with analytics platforms and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or comparable technologies. 

• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into practical, scalable, and secure analytics solutions. 

• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, privacy, security, and compliance principles. 

• Experience operating in complex, matrixed, global organizations with multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities. 

• Excellent executive communication, storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. 

• Willingness to travel up-to 10% of the working time

This role requires to work 25% US Time. 
Working patterns for US shift are 13:30 – 22:00 (Mon – Friday) 
There are extra benefits for employees covering US time: 

• 30% hourly bonus for every complete shift worked US time 

• One additional meal voucher per day during US time shift 

The starting salary is at min 5 800 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.

This amount is our minimal offered salary. Clarios values each and every candidate and we ensure our compensation package aligns with your professional experience and your expectation.
