Your role

In this STA, you will join the Finance Advice team as a Senior Expert / Expert, supporting the financial steering of PI & PB product portfolios. These portfolios include key products such as Mortgages, Personal Loans, Daily Banking (Current Accounts & Savings), Insurance, and Investments—together representing a significant share of ING Group’s financial results.

You will contribute to financial insights, performance steering, and strategic discussions, working closely with business and finance stakeholders across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Financial Performance & Insights
  Support and contribute to financial performance management of PI & PB products, providing insights on KPIs, trends, and portfolio developments.
• Product & Pricing Support
  Assist in preparing financial analyses, business cases, and pricing assessments; contribute to alignment between business strategy and financial targets.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  Work closely with Product, Retail, Risk, and Finance teams; support the preparation of clear and concise materials for senior stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement
  Contribute to enhancing forecasting, reporting, and data quality; support simplification and automation initiatives within Finance Advice.

Who we are looking for

• 3–10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Analysis, Product Control, or similar
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
• Interest or experience in product profitability, pricing, or financial modelling is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proactive attitude with ownership mentality
• Experience in retail banking / financial services is preferred
