Part-time faculty, Music Business

Job Description:

Berklee College of Music invites applications for the position of Part-time Faculty, Global Entertainment and Music Business to teach at Berklee Valencia in Valencia, Spain . Teaching topics include live entertainment, concert, touring, marketing and publishing. The initial appointment will begin no later than August 24, 2026. 

 

Under the supervision of the Program Director of the Global Entertainment and Music Business program, the faculty member(s) will teach during the Fall semester (August 24-December 18). 

 

Required

• Ability to work in Spain (EU citizenship or valid visa/work authorization).
• Fluent in English.
• 10+ years art and/or entertainment industry experience, specifically in live sector (fthe estivals, concerts, events organization). 
• Experience and professional connections with the art and/or entertainment industry.
• Experience teaching and/or offering professional training.
• Student centered. Passion for supporting  music professionals.
• Aptitude for embracing diversity in individuals, perspectives, musical styles, and curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree. 

Preferred

• Teaching experience at the higher education level with topics such as marketing, live entertainment, publishing or entrepreneurship.
• PhD or Master’s degree.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish.
