Description
We are currently seeking a Roadway Quality Control Technician (RQCT) to join our materials testing team in. The RQCT will play a vital roll in establishing rolling patterns for future density testing in accordance with specific project specifications. We are willing to train the right candidate for this role.
This role requires regular travel to various NWA job sites where asphalt is being placed.
This is a salaried position.
Your Role: Ensuring Quality Compliance
As a RQCT you will establish, set, and modify rolling patterns on all projects. You will be responsible for maintaining constant communication with various employee-owners to ensure all requirements and project specifications are met. Your meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise will ensure that projects stay on track and fully within the specifications set forth by the project contract.
Responsibilities:
Communicate all density-related information promptly and effectively
Identify, correct, record, and report any quality control issues or concerns promptly
Establish and maintain a working relationship with all pertinent personal
Maintain meticulous records for all projects
Establish, set, and modify rolling patterns
Cut and deliver roadway densities to lab technicians for testing
Travel to various NWA job sites where asphalt is being placed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in the quality control roll, preferably in the construction industry, willing to train the right
candidateStrong technical skill with a comprehensive understanding of roadway specifications and limitations
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to thrive and fast-paced, dynamic environment
