PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Familiarity with both manual and CNC machine tool installations.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems and recommend repairs.
- Must work closely with Materials, Machine operators and Plant Managers.
- Establish a relationship with vendors and work with them in repairing the equipment.
- Able to read and understand parts and service manuals to recommend repairs of equipment.
- Will be required to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Complete all related paperwork and computerized maintenance management systems including maintaining equipment logs.
- Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.
- Parts ordering and inventory management.
- Will be tasked to work with Facility maintenance techs as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment is a plus.
