Summary:

Under a passionate leadership team and committed support staff, we assist our clients in reclaiming freedom. We are currently seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey.
Pay: $16/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00PM - 11:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program.
- Communicate with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, responsible for detailed client logs.
- Listen to clients concerning all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
- Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings.
- Conduct mandatory bed checks as required per department and complete the bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
- Attend shift change, team meetings, and company meetings.
- Ensure the client schedule is being followed daily.
- Assist with interventions with clients.
- Follow objectives of treatment plans.
- Monitor medication line.
- Transport clients to meetings and recreation.
- Conduct searches of clients when they return to the facility.
- Monitor treatment for necessary hygiene and medical needs.
- Uphold Therapeutic Boundaries and Staff Code of Ethics.
- Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide input.
- Distribute client snacks as needed.
- Train new staff on unit, program, and milieu.
- Help with upkeep of the facility.
- Assist clients with obtaining a sponsor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health.
- Experience facilitating process groups and family sessions.
