Our client, a leading Asian restaurant group with over 100 locations and international expansion plans in Taiwan and LA.
Title of Position: Head of Culinary Innovation (Thai)
Location: Based in Bangkok
Package: 140,000 - 200,000 Baht

The role. Lead the creation of new dishes that take traditional Thai cooking into modern, premium territory for the company one of Asia’s leading
restaurant groups. We are not fine dining — we are fine-casual: every dish is premium in craft and ingredients, yet accessible to a broad public and built to
run consistently at volume.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Thai chef with deep command of traditional Thai cuisine and a strong feel for modern/new Thai.
• Michelin pedigree — has either earned a Michelin star or worked in a Michelin-starred kitchen.
• A creator, not a maintainer — a track record of inventing dishes, not just executing existing menus.
• Strong eye for plating and presentation — a premium look that still works for a casual, high-throughput setting.
• Language: English preferred but not required. A candidate with no English must be comfortable using AI translation tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to work with our team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop new dishes each month — traditional Thai reimagined as modern, premium, accessible.
• Own the plating and presentation of every dish.
• Host monthly tastings in Bangkok. Executive team will fly to Bangkok to do monthly food testing together.
• Finalize recipes in Taipei — fly to HQ to adapt approved dishes with the local team and local ingredients.
• Help set up a Bangkok test kitchen — identify and establish a dedicated R&D facility
