As a Placement & Support Specialist, you will support insurance and reinsurance placement activities by working with data, contracts, and operational processes that help deliver exceptional service to our clients. How you'll make an impact

  • Gather, review, and organize information from internal systems and stakeholders to support client and reinsurer onboarding processes.
  • Conduct administrative due diligence activities, ensuring client and market information is accurately recorded and maintained in company systems.
  • Review market and carrier information to verify compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and business standards.
  • Work closely with Compliance and Sanctions teams to complete required screening and approval processes.
  • Monitor placement and marketing documentation, ensuring all necessary reviews, approvals, and quality checks are completed before progressing.
  • Prepare reports, data analysis, and statistical information to support the placement of reinsurance programs and business decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic files in accordance with Gallagher Excellence Model (GEM) standards and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with broking and operational teams to ensure policy documentation, client records, and compliance requirements are completed correctly and on time.
  • Review contracts and supporting documentation to ensure information is accurately entered into transactional and workflow management systems.
  • Interpret contractual information and verify key details to support timely billing and operational processing.
  • Create and update accounting and transaction records within internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and issue operational documentation such as cover notes, debit notes, closing instructions, and other placement-related records.
  • Track deadlines, workflows, and outstanding tasks, proactively following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.

About you

 

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business, Law, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage and review large volumes of information accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally.
