Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a cutting-edge tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and help support authorized access procedures for sensitive operational areas.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and/or communication during operational changes, weather events, or other site needs while maintaining professional presence and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is a primarily driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
