About the Company:
Our client is a developer and integrator of automated baking equipment and technology for bakeries and fast production food manufacturing facilities. Their equipment spans the whole range of the baking process from ingredients handling to packaging machines.
Our client is expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add licensed Industrial Millwrights to their dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics
- Manufacture parts according to drawings and/or specifications
- Assemble and fit fabricated components, sub-components, frames, conveyors, robotic cells, etc. as per drawings, specifications, instructions, and technical manuals
- Install, examine, troubleshoot, replace or repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies, lighting fixtures and electrical components as required
- Assist in the installation of cable trays, conduit pipe and wire pulling for electrical systems
- Install brackets and hangers to support mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical equipment
- Test operation of equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system, following installation, replacement or repair
- Install equipment at customer facilities and trial run same as required
- Adhere to the Project Management schedule(s) ensuring equipment downtime is minimized and plant is running efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working within an industrial equipment assembly/manufacturing environment
- Must possess a valid 433A millwright certificate
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to understand fabrication drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuit diagrams
- Experience using both hand and power tools
- Some familiarity with electrical circuit diagrams
- Ability to travel (locally, nationally and/or internationally) for onsite installations
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends if required
