Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shipping and receiving team.
- Manage the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to storage and work areas.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or carriers.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory in the database.
- Route materials and products to appropriate departments efficiently.
- Maintain sufficient stock of shipping materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards in all shipping and receiving activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, inventory, purchasing) to meet customer deadlines and operational requirements.
- Implement process improvements to optimize shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management and the team.
