Warehouse Receiving, Inventory Control & Manufacturing
Openwork is hiring an experienced Receiving Specialist for an established manufacturing company in Oklahoma City, OK 73179.
This hands-on position involves receiving and inspecting shipments, verifying materials, maintaining inventory records, operating forklifts, and supporting warehouse operations.
Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of receiving experience, hands-on MRP system experience, and current forklift certification.
Position Details:
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179.
- Pay: $18.50–$20.00/hr | Weekly Pay.
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, starting at 6:00 AM.
- Availability: Must be able to work until at least 4:30 PM daily.
- Shift: 1st Shift.
- Employment: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire.
- Overtime: As needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Check materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Enter and update inventory records using an MRP system.
- Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts to unload, move, and organize materials.
- Count, label, and store incoming materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking.
- Maintain accurate receiving documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
- Follow workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of receiving experience required.
- Hands-on MRP system experience required.
- Current forklift certification and operating experience required.
- Ability to communicate and understand English.
- Experience with purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory tracking.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing warehouse.
- Must be available until at least 4:30 PM daily.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Regular forklift operation and material handling.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Loading, unloading, and moving warehouse materials.
- Required PPE and workplace safety procedures.
