Position Details

We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide for up to 25 hours per week. The right candidate would possess the skills to be able to be the back up cook and cook one day a week.
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Shift differentials paid for evenings (after 2 PM) and weekends

Required Availability:

• 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM Dietary Aide/Cook Shifts
• 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM Dietary Aide Shifts

(Candidates must be available to work a combination of these shifts.)

What You’ll Do

As a Dietary Aide, you’ll work closely with our healthcare team to ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals that meet their individual dietary needs. Responsibilities include:

• Setting up, serving, and cleaning dining rooms and kitchenettes
• Assisting with meal preparation in the main kitchen during down times
• Stocking and rotating food items
• Recording food temperatures and documenting diet orders
• Supporting cooks and ensuring food safety standards are met

The role of the cook is to prepare meals for breakfast, dinner and supper for residents, guests, and facility staff. Qualified Candidates must be able to read and follow standard recipes and should exhibit a positive, professional approach when interacting with residents, staff and guests. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Experience in food service is preferred.
