Pay Rate: $24.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public spaces, performance areas, backstage corridors, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Monitor access points and support credential verification for employees, contractors, artists, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain professional readiness with authorized equipment and report hazards, incidents, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
