 About Penbrothers

Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner and one of the fastest-growing companies in the Philippines. We provide talented Filipinos with global opportunities in high-growth startups and dynamic companies, from the comfort of their own homes.

About the Client

Our client is a global leader in digital trust, PKI, and machine identity management, helping organizations manage and secure keys, certificates, and identities across cloud, containers, and enterprise environments. As digital ecosystems grow, we enable secure, scalable, and automated cryptographic operations.

About the Role

The NOC Engineer monitors Keyfactor hosted environments, performs alert triage, executes approved runbooks, creates and routes tickets, and coordinates operational escalations. This role supports a dedicated operational layer responsible for improving ownership, reducing duplicate effort, and ensuring alerts and incidents are addressed quickly and consistently.

NOC Engineers handle Tier 1 operational monitoring and incident coordination while partnering with Support and Cloud Engineering. Support owns customer-facing ticket management and communications, Cloud Engineering owns the platform, and the NOC owns operational awareness and coordination between the two.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, hosted environments, system health, and enterprise monitoring platforms.

  • Configure, implement, and optimize monitoring alerts and alerting policies using tools such as Datadog or Azure Monitor.

  • Perform incident triage, investigate infrastructure issues, and troubleshoot VM availability, CPU, memory, disk, and service failures.

  • Support cloud infrastructure operations, particularly Microsoft Azure, including resource monitoring and service-health checks.

  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services.

  • Develop and maintain PowerShell/Bash scripts, operational runbooks, and automated remediation workflows.

  • Execute maintenance activities, monitor system changes, and document operational incidents.

  • Coordinate incident escalations, service disruptions, and handoffs with Support and Cloud Engineering teams.

  • Track operational KPIs, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to monitoring, alerting, and automation processes.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in NOC, Infrastructure Operations, Systems Administration, or Cloud Operations.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is also acceptable.

  • Experience configuring, implementing, and tuning monitoring alerts using Datadog, Azure Monitor, or similar enterprise platforms.

  • Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills, including VM availability, CPU/memory utilization, disk capacity, and service failures.

  • Practical Windows Server administration experience, including AD DS, AD FS, IIS, and ARR.

  • Ability to read and write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.

  • Experience with automation, operational runbooks, and automated remediation.

  • Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, KQL, Docker, or Kubernetes is an advantage.

  • Strong incident management, troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation skills.

  • Willingness to work on an assigned and ongoing shift schedule.
