Enterprise Storage Admin

Position Overview

We are partnering with an established organization in the Pittsburgh area to identify an experienced Enterprise Storage Administrator to join its infrastructure team. This individual will serve as a key technical resource supporting enterprise storage, data protection, and cyber recovery initiatives.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure while contributing to a major technology modernization effort, including a new data center buildout and upcoming storage platform migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise storage infrastructure.
• Support storage modernization initiatives, including migrations involving Dell PowerFlex and Rubrik.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a new data center environment.
• Develop and maintain cyber recovery procedures, runbooks, and recovery processes.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established change management and compliance procedures.
• Partner with infrastructure, virtualization, network, security, and application teams.

Technical Experience

Experience with several of the following technologies is desired:

• Dell PowerFlex
• Dell PowerMax
• Dell PowerStore
• Dell PowerScale
• Dell Data Domain
• Rubrik
• Enterprise storage administration and data protection
• Backup, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery processes
• VMware/VCF familiarity is a plus

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration or a closely related infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise storage environments.
• Experience with storage migrations, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment, such as financial services, banking, or healthcare, is a plus.
