Vice President, Regional Digital Fraud & Security Specialist, Consumer Banking Group

Job Purpose:

With growing digital channels and customer base in all our markets, digital security becomes more and more critical in the new era of digital banking. The role will have substantial impact on protecting DBS’s customers from fraud and scams. The person will be responsible for understanding latest fraud trends and develop preventive measures to reduce fraud & scam loses for our customers and DBS. This is a critical function with direct impact on protecting customers through security features and building trust with our customers.


 Responsibilities:

• Drive regional fraud and security related projects as business lead/project manager, defining the requirements and creating a more secure customers digital journeys. 

• Implement best in class security measures and design and work with country stakeholders to balance security measures and friction in customers' journey.

• Research and analyse fraud cases to identify and prevent future fraud in partnership with multiple departments.

• Identifies areas that need increased security procedures or digital capabilities to protect customer accounts.

• Develop preventive measures to reduce fraud & scam loses for our customers and DBS.

• Security and risk governances on regional digital channels and services, defining security requirements with cybersecurity team and maintain and review risk matrix

• Support audit and MAS review related to security and risk controls.

• Engage Senior Management, Tech and Ops, and Product teams and support security and fraud forum.

• Collaborate with and learn from cross functional business partners (including Customer Experience, Marketing, IT,  Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations and others) to develop holistic, end-to- end digital solutions that fulfil customer and business needs.
   

Requirements:

• Degree holder with 7 years relevant experience, preferably in Consumer Banking and/or mobile / Internet Banking , digital security, fraud prevention or related fields with strong business acumen an advantage.

• Experience in digital channel management, gathering business requirement, managing projects and initiatives

• Strong in Digital Trends and Technological Savvy

• Demonstrate strong ability on analytics

• Keen interest in emerging digital trends and how to apply them to improve our digital customer experience.

• A good team player who is able to work well with product specialist, operational teams and technical teams.

• Possess the ability to prioritize and categorize requirements or issues to ensure that effective delivery of projects or enhancements

• Lead and challenge the status quo on project delivery and product development life cycle
