M01 - SQL Server & .NET Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server & .NET Cloud Operations Engineer to support and maintain enterprise application hosting platforms across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance, .NET applications, and Azure hosting services, ensuring platform availability, performance, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.
• Support the hosting and operation of enterprise .NET applications and Azure Application Services.
• Perform routine monitoring, patching, maintenance, and backup coordination.
• Investigate and troubleshoot application, database, and hosting-related incidents.
• Support integration and dependencies between enterprise application platforms and on-premises SharePoint environments.
• Provide operational support for SharePoint on-premises workloads when required.
• Manage SSL certificates and associated security configurations.
• Support cloud and hybrid application hosting environments, including Azure Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
• Provide backup operational coverage for SharePoint infrastructure services

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server and .NET application platforms.
• Experience managing cloud and hybrid enterprise application hosting environments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure GCC and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience using Azure Key Vault and PowerShell for platform operations.
• Familiarity with application platforms integrated with on-premises SharePoint.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and technical problem-solving skills.
