As a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Reception in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and communicate professionally to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with established procedures.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general site information, and communicate with appropriate personnel regarding visitor arrivals and access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying designated contacts.
• Monitor front desk communications and access-control activity, report unusual activity or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
